Northeast, 8th October: A delegation of Congress went to inspect the school on Sunday located at Cachar district in at Assam-Mizo border which has been destroyed on Friday.
Ex MLA, Susmita Deb with Congress minister, Ajit Singh, and other ministers were present at the spot. Mizo police and local people stop their way. In the end, they were forced to leave the spot.
Assam-Mizo border miscreants caused a bomb blast at around 1:30 AM. However, there were no causalities reported.
The school was recently taken over by the Mizoram IR Battalion. The Superintendent of Police along with the Deputy Commissioner was present at the spot.
DC of Cachar, Kreerti Joli had reported that three blasts could be heard. Both DC and SP went to the spot as soon as the news was received and investigating the matter.
