BJP Chief JP Nadda

Assam, Jan 10: BJP national president JP Nadda will kickstart the ruling party’s election campaign in Assam on 11th January.

Nadda will reach Assam on Monday for a two-day BJP’s campaign for the assembly poll in the state which is scheduled in April-May this year.

According to the BJP source, Nadda will arrive in Silchar at Barak Valley on Monday and he will address a public rally there called ‘Vijay Sankalpa Samabesh‘.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, his cabinet colleague Himanta Biswa Sarma, state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass and other senior party leaders will also take part in the huge public rally to be held at Police parade ground, Silchar.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also kick started his Lok Sabha election campaign from Assam in 2019 by taking part in a public rally at Silchar.

Apart from Nadda, BJP’s national general secretary BL Santosh, national vice president and party in-charge for Assam Baijayant Jay Panda will also take part in the rally in Silchar.

JP Nadda will also take part in several meetings with the party leaders of Assam in Guwahati on Monday evening and will spend the night in Guwahati.

On January 12, Nadda will visit Kamakhya temple in Guwahati and will fly to Delhi.
