J&K, 5th November: Union Home Minister Amit Shah in his two-day trip to West Bengal, respond to a question about the Abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir said “Everything is going fine there. All development is going in J&K”
Asking about Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah’s latest statement on taking help from China, he said “It is not that easy to take help from china. The people of Jammu & Kashmir are happy after the Abolition of article 370. Every widow got the help, every retired man got the pension, and every village is a getter water supply, etc. all these happen after the removal of article 370.”
A few days back the dates for the District Development Council (DDC) elections have been announced. This will be the first major political activity in Jammu and Kashmir since the Abrogation of Article 370.
“Panchayat election is happening there for the first time. The whole country is enjoying the 73-74th amendment but Kashmir doesn’t have the right to conduct. We did this and the Zila election will be complete by 22nd November,” Shah added.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also said about Pakistan, “Our agencies are working very well. Modi-led government exposes Pakistan in a good way so after removing article 370, not many countries supported them. We aim to secure our border and development in Jammu & Kashmir.”
Reacting to the relation between China and India, Shah said “No one can capture a single inch of Indian land. This is the government of Modi and our priority is to secure the borders.”
