Unlock-1 guidelines for Northeast states:

June 8, 2020: The unlock phase 1 has begun from Monday all across the country in line with the guidelines given by the Union Home Ministry, and unlock-1 for Northeast states are written down below.

Arunachal Pradesh

Places of religious worship are going to remain closed till 30th June and so will educational institutions.

Hotels and restaurants are to be opened. People will be allowed to come and eat provided there is proper maintenance of the guidelines as issued by the government.

Mizoram

In Mizoram, although the lockdown has been extended till the 30th of June, some restrictions have been lifted.

Shops and business outlets in the state will be kept open till 5 PM. Night curfew shall continue from 7 PM to 5 PM. During this time not more than 5 people will be allowed to assemble at one place. Educational institutions and public places and any kind of political or community events will remain forbidden. However, in case of social events like marriage or funeral special permission from the government will be required and not more than 20 people will be allowed to assemble.

Manipur

As had been decided by the Manipur state government, on June 1, the curfew is going to continue – 2 PM to 5 AM in Imphal and other district headquarters till June 15 and from 5 PM to 5 AM in other areas till June 30.

Public places and educational institutions shall remain suspended and movement of only those public vehicles will continue as permitted by the government.

Nagaland

Lockdown restrictions are to continue in the state until further notice.

Tripura

Curfew timings have been revised from 9 PM to 5 PM. Schools and colleges are to remain closed and restrictions in containment zones are to continue. Inter-state bus movement will not be allowed till all the people stranded in other states are brought back and put under quarantine, said Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb.

Meghalaya

Inter-district movement will be allowed in the state. But the inter-state movement will not be. Transportation both private and public will be allowed to operate only with 50 per cent capacity. Educational institutions, parlours, salons remain to be closed.
