Agartala, July 23: Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that the BJP-led state government has converted 130 Bengali medium schools to English medium in the last three years.
The minister on Thursday inaugurated a virtual orientation programme for teachers of the newly converted English schools.

He said that there were only 127 English forum schools in the state till 2018, and in the past three years, the number has increased to 257.
“Total 130 Bengali medium schools were converted into English medium in only three years after the BJP government came to power,” Nath stated.
