Siliguri, August 13: Bengal Safari Park of Siliguri gets 3 healthy Royal Bengal cubs born to a tigress named Sheila. The happiness came after 3 months and 11 days of pregnancy when the 3 were finally welcomed at the Park.
“3 tiger cubs are born in our Bengal Safari. Their mother’s name is Shiela and their father’s name is Beeman. Shiela is fit me and the three cubs are also drinking milk. With these three cubs, we are now having a total population of 7 tigers in our Bengal Safari“, said the DFO Dharam Dio Rai.
The incident took place on the morning of August 12. The tigress gave birth to 3 healthy cubs for the second time in the Bengal Safari Park at Salgua attached to Siliguri.
The DFO added that the sex of the newborn cubs has not yet been detected and that they will inform as soon as they find out.
According to the information given by the Bengal Safari Management, the time of the birth of the cubs is between 4 am to 7 am.
It is reported that the children are healthy and fine and the doctors of Bengal Safari are in charge of their case.
