Sourav Ganguly rushed to Kolkata hospital after complaining of chest pain

Ganguly, Jan 27: BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was taken to Apollo Gleneagles Hospital in Kolkata on Wednesday after he complained of chest pain unwell.

Earlier in January, the former India captain was hospitalised after complaining of chest pain. He had undergone angioplasty and treatment for five days at Kolkata’s Woodlands Hospital. Ganguly was discharged after doctors termed him clinically fit on January 7.

I am fine,” Sourav Ganguly had said after being discharged from the Hospital.

Earlier, Ganguly was diagnosed with three blocked coronary arteries, following which a stent was inserted to remove the blockage.

Mr Ganguly is clinically fit. He slept well and had his meal. He wanted to stay in the hospital for one more day. So he will go home tomorrow. It is his personal decision,” Dr Rupali Basu, MD and CEO of Woodlands Hospital had said.
