Out on bail, man threatens to kill PM Modi to go back to jail

Delhi, June 4: A 22-year-old man was arrested in Delhi’s Khajuri Khas after he allegedly made a phone call threatening to kill PM Narendra Modi. He was reportedly out on bail and wanted to go back to jail.

The man, identified as Salman, made the death threat call to the police. The arrested accused dialled the police and said, “I want to kill Modi [ PM Modi]

Following the call, police apprehended him from northeast Delhi’s Khajuri Khas area in Delhi and brought him to the police station for questioning. During interrogation, the man said he made the call because he wanted to go to jail.

Salman has several cases against him and was out on bail, police found out. Since he wanted to go back to jail, Salman called the police, issuing the threat.

Sources informed that since the matter is related to PM Narendra Modi, the intelligence officials too will interrogate Salman.
