Nagaland, 9th October: Nagaland has registered 70 new Coronavirus positive cases, taking the state’s overall count to 7019.

Confirming the detection of the new cases, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the states COVID-19 status said the new positive cases have been confirmed out of 332 tests.

The Health Minister Phom has also said, out of the new cases, 51 cases have been detected in Dimapur, 13 have been detected in Kohima, 2 in Peren district, 1 in Tuensang, 1 in Mon district, 1 in Longleng, and one in Mokokchung.

However, 49 patients have recovered from the disease COVID-19, as informed by the health minister. Out of the recovered patients, 33 were from Dimapur, 15 were from Kohima and 1 from Tuensang.

According to the state’s latest data, Nagaland has registered 7019 positive cases so far. Currently, Nagaland has 1253 active Coronavirus cases. Number of deaths that took place due to the disease is 12. The total number of recovered cases are at 5684 till date.
