Mizoram, April 20: Mizoram has registered 91 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s total tally to 4,995.
According to the Covid-19 bulletin, released by the directorate of information and public relations, Mizoram, with the new positive cases, the state currently has 437 active cases.
Of the new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, 83 were detected during Rapid Antigen Test (RAT), 7 in RT-PCR test at ZMC, and 1 case was detected in TrueNat test.
So far, a total of 4,546 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19 in Mizoram, have been discharged.
The covid-19 infection has claimed so far 12 people in Mizoram.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2,038 Covid19 tests were conducted in Mizoram.
A total of 228 samples were tested at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) in Aizawl.
The numbers of Covid19 tests conducted in TrueNAT laboratories of various districts were: Lunglei-30, Siaha-2, Champhai-3, Mamit-3, Serchhip-5, Khawzawl-2, and Hnahthial-2.
The numbers of Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted in various districts in Mizoram were: Aizawl-786, Lunglei-61, Siaha-6, Champhai-101, Mamit-80, Kolasib-323, Serchhip-72, Lawngtlai-61, Khawzawl-21, Saitual-242, and Hnahthial-10.
