Mumbai, Oct 3: King Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been placed under arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Aryan, along with two others, was apprehended from the Empress ship off the coast of Mumbai on Sunday.
He was arrested for the involvement of consumption, sell and purchase of contraband punishable under NDPS Act, 1985 of section 8 (c), 20(b), and 35. The officers seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of Charas Charas and 22 Pills of MDMA (Ecstacy) and 1,33000/-INR at International Cruise Terminal, Green Gate Mumbai.
Aryan Khan was arrested based on evidence gathered against him during the investigation, officials said. Besides Aryan Khan, two others – Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant – have also been arrested.
Officials revealed that Aryan Khan has been arrested for the consumption of drugs, while Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha have been placed in custody for possession of drugs. The hearing is currently underway.
Vishwa Vijay Singh, Superintendent, Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai Zonal Unit, duly empowered under the provisions of Section 42 of Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances, 1985 arrested Khan. Advocate Satish Maneshinde, who represented Rhea Chakraborty in a drug-related case, is arguing on behalf of Aryan Khan in the Magistrate’s court.
Earlier, NCB recorded Aryan Khan’s statement in connection with the rave party that was hosted on Saturday night onboard the cruise ship, the statements of another five suspects – Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra were also recorded.

The NCB has also summoned six of the organisers who had planned the cruise party. Kashiff Khan, managing director of FTV India, is also under scanner and NCB has reached out to him. The event was organised under the supervision of Kashiff Khan.
Aryan Khan is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s eldest son. The couple also has a daughter, Suhana Khan, and another son, AbRam. Actor Suniel Shetty has asked to give him a breather as the whole story is not out yet.
Well, this is not the first time of involvement of drugs in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone, Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa, Rhea Chakraborty, Sara Ali Khan and many others were summoned by the NCB earlier.
