Health check-up camp held in West Garo Hills

Meghalaya, Feb 17: A one-day health check-up camp by the medical team of Dadenggre Community Health Centers (CHC), was held at Asimgre Village under Dadenggre Sub-Division.

During the program, Dr. Dimpy Marak highlighted the importance of having regular medical health checkups for the overall well-being of a person.

The Block Development Officer Nipong Hajong, who was also present during the health check-up program, highlighted the various activities of the medical team, and requested the people of the region to take full advantage of the various schemes provided by the medical department.

The State Bank of India (SBI) Gram Seva program in association with Bakdil aims to bring various schemes into the ambit of the common people.

Over 75 villagers of Asimgre village took advantage of the free medical camp, in which a free health check-up, conducted along with the distribution of free medicines to the villagers.
