Maintain an efficient working environment: Deputy CM Chowna Mein

June 19: Speaking to administrative officials, Chowna Mein, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh focussed and highlighted on maintaining an effective and efficient working environment and culture in the district of Namsai on Tuesday.

Mein said, “Work culture of the department officials, especially that of the engineers, must change for good.”

He further added that every single engineer from the junior level to the top level, must be responsible for all projects under their jurisdiction.

Mein said that the senior engineers should personally visit each work site regularly.

“This will not only help in monitoring the progress and maintaining quality but also encourage junior officials to discharge their duties honestly and sincerely,” he said.

Mein informed, “No works should be compromised and underscored the importance of following the CPWD norms to achieve quality, timely delivery and transparency ineffective execution of works emphasizing on sustainable development.”

He had also informed that deputy chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh appraised the officers’ efforts for bringing about a transformation in the district.
