We have seen that even after ten days of curfew, numbers have increased. The situation demands more measures to fight the outbreak. The government has stepped up efforts to check the spread. Therefore the decision to continue with the 24-hour curfew was taken by the cabinet,” Nath added.

Nath also said that all the private offices will remain closed and for government offices, those engaged with emergency services will only be allowed to attend their duty. The chief secretary Manoj Kumar will issue separate notifications in this regard.
