West Bengal, Jan 6: Ahead of assembly election 2021, the West Bengal Police recovered huge crude bombs at Bolpur area in Birbhum on Wednesday.
At least 25 bombs were kept in the drum. The incident took place from an empty field between the Jalundi and Palundi villages of Nanurthana.
The crude bomb was recovered by a bomb squad team. Police are investigating the matter.
On 2nd January, Acting on an intelligence input, the Kolkata Police recovered several bombs from the city’s Entally area Police Station limits.
As per the information received, the Kolkata unit of the Military Intelligence had shared the input with Kolkata Police.
