Delhi, May 27: A Cessna made an emergency landing at Yamuna Expressway — about 95 km from Noida on Thursday afternoon due to an engine snag.

The Cessna 152 (VT-NNN) belonging to Pioneer Flying Training was on a “cross country” (training) flight from Aligarh. It was to overfly Narnaul and then return to Aligarh.

According to the source, “The aircraft made a forced landing on Yamuna Express Highway due to an engine snag. Captain Jagrat and trainee pilot Aditya was on board the aircraft. Both occupants are safe. A combined team of Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Aircraft Accident Investigation Board (AAIB) have been rushed to the spot for probing this.”
