BJP parivartan yatra

Kolkata, Feb 9: Calcutta High Court has refused to pass any order to stop the BJP ‘Parivartan Yatra‘ for next two days, as the court will hear the case on February 11.

Petitioners counsel Achinta Banerjee argued that due to Covid pandemic, this type of yatra cannot be permitted.

He said in European countries total lockdown is going on, all international flight have been cancelled.

Under these circumstances, any such yatra, it continues in the state, it will be dangerous for people of Bengal. BJP Parivartan Yatra.

The counsel prayed for an interim order to stop the yatra till February 11, bench Rajesh Bindal & Justice Anirudha Roy refused to pass any interim order, and directed petitioner to file power in favour of Achinta Banerjee. So that he appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

Mahesh Jethmalani, appearing for BJP legal cell prayed that the case may be listed. The division bench allowed the prayer and fixed the case on that day.
