BSNL to provide 3G internet in the border of Arunachal

Arunachal, September 12: Indian Army and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is providing extension 3G internet services in border areas Arunachal Pradesh shares border with China and Bhutan.

Deputy Chief Minister Chow Mein had reviewed the status of the project. Mein expressed happiness on the progress made so far despite the difficulties of bad weather and good effort of the Indian Army and the BSNL in the development. He wants them to action the process Prime Minister to provide internet connectivity to remote areas. He further added, “Internet connectivity has become a necessity during this Covid19 Pandemic as we have to rely on digital communication in order to maintain social distancing and minimize physical meeting to contain the spread of Coronavirus.”

Major General, Sanjiv Chauhan, General officer commanding (HQ), 2 Mountain Division, Dinjan has confirmed to action the process and continue to share and update the status of progress made with state government from time to time.
