Tame Phassang

Arunachal, Dec 10: BJP’s national council member Tame Phassang lashed out at China over the recent construction of three villages along the International border and also express concern about Arunachal.

BJP’s national council member Tame Phassang, who is also the advisor to Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, said, “I would like to clear one thing that the actions of neighbouring country China against India are shameful. LOC and LAC are very much cleared with China and Pakistan but if we talk about Arunachal, we neither have LAC nor LOC. According to the 1914 Simla act, we follow the Mcmahon line. This was a treaty signed between Tibet and India that time we don’t have any consequences with China. This has been signed by Henry Mcmahon. Till now we are believing in that. If we discuss this with China then it will be more beneficial for everyone.”

Phassang said that the Chinese intrusion which was done in Srinagar should not be repeated in Arunachal.

The incident which happened recently in Srinagar, we should think of that as an incident which shouldn’t happen in Arunachal. We heard that China is trying to settle themselves in a colony by the border. A few months back they kidnapped some people from Arunachal, and later returned them safely,” BJP’s national council member added.

Arunachal is an integral part of India said Phassang.

“I want to say this to our party seniors that the people of Arunachal are an integral part of India. We condemn any anti activity that is being tried to create some sort of misunderstanding in our country by our neighbouring countries. All the top ministers will discuss the matter,” Phassang added.
