Assembly Election 2021: Amit Shah, Nadda in Assam today

Assam, March 15: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda will visit poll-bound Assam in relation to Assembly Election work on Monday. Amit Shah will attend a BJP program in Guwahati around 4.30 pm at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra.

Amit Shah will launch BJP’s social media campaign ‘Selfie with Development’ for the assembly polls in Assam.

Amit Shah will also attend a meeting with the Guwahati city district committee and assess poll preparedness with the state BJP leaders.

Earlier, Amit Shah visited Assam on Sunday and addressed two election rallies in Margherita and Nazira constituencies.

On the other hand, JP Nadda will address three election rallies in Northern Assam’s Lakhimpur, Biswanath and Sonitpur districts and will campaign for the party candidates.

Nadda will address his first election rally in the Dhakuakhana constituency and later address two more rallies in Sootea and Barchalla constituencies.

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also address three election rallies in Naharkatia, Duliajan and Dibrugarh assembly constituencies.

Nadda will reach Lilabari Airport in Assam by 12:30 pm and address a public rally at MV Field, Dhakuakhana (Assam) at 01:00 pm.

Following which he will address another huge public rally at IB Field, Jamugurihat Sootea In Assam at 03:30 pm.

At 05:00 pm in the evening, Nadda will address the third mega rally in Assam at HS Field, Borbhagiya, Barsola.

At 06:15 pm, he will take a meeting of Sunitpur District Party Office near Tezpur Airport and return to the national capital in the night.

Assam will go to the polls on March 27, April 1, and 6. Results will be declared on May 2 for the 126 seats.
