With 207 new COVID-19 positive cases Assam tally touches 3900, Nagaland reports five fresh cases:

Guwahati, June 14: With 207 new positive cases for COVID-19, Assam tally in the numbers of the deadly virus has touched 3900.

The state has reported 207 COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours.

Confirming the report, Assam Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that, 207 new cases have been detected in the state in last 24 hours.

The state has so far registered 3900 positive cases for COVID-19 and out of these, 1805 patients were discharged from the hospitals.

On the other hand, eight COVID-19 patients died during treatment and the state has now 2084 active COVID-19 positive cases.

The Assam Health minister tweeted – “182 new #COVID19+ cases reported today in Assam. Total cases 3900, Recovered 1805, Active cases 2084, Deaths 08.

On the other hand, Nagaland on Sunday has reported five fresh COVID-19 positive cases taking the state tally to 168.

Nagaland Health minister S Pangnyu Phom said that, out of the five cases, three cases have been detected from Mon quarantine centre while two from Peren quarantine centre.

He tweeted – “5 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 232 samples tested. 3 from Mon QC & 2 from Peren QC. Positive : 168, Active : 92, Recovered : 76.
