Imphal, Aug 19: 24 stranded Myanmar national in Manipur were sent to their country on Tuesday.

The Indian officials had handed over the nationals to their counterparts of Myanmar at Moreh – the Indo-Myanmar border town of Manipur.

Out of 24 national seven are females.

Some of them are students and some others are working in weaving factories in India.

A top official of Manipur government said that, out of 24 people four are from Tamu Township, three from Foungsing village, Khanteen Township, three from Pangsoung, Sagaing region, two each from Lasei Township, Tiddim township, Hakha township, Matupi Chin and one each from Pansaung Township longlang village, Summra Township, Kalay township, Tanzang township, Pawa Kachin, Anesakhan, Pyin Oo LwinLwin.
